Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at 859-533-5997 or Brandon@autotekmobile.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

AutoTek provides mobile mechanic services in Lexington and select surrounding communities, including Georgetown, Nicholasville, Winchester, Richmond, Frankfort, and Versailles, Kentucky.

We proudly serve these areas with convenient, on-site automotive repair and diagnostic services. Service availability may vary depending on location and scheduling.

AutoTek is a mobile mechanic service, not a dedicated emergency roadside assistance provider. While we may occasionally be able to accommodate same-day or urgent service calls, availability depends on our existing schedule, location, and the type of repair needed.

If you're experiencing vehicle trouble, feel free to contact us with your location and a description of the issue. We'll let you know if we're available to help. Please keep in mind that immediate or same-day service is not guaranteed.

If you need immediate emergency roadside assistance, we recommend contacting a dedicated roadside assistance or towing provider.

Our mobile pre-purchase inspections provide a visual and functional assessment of the vehicle’s overall condition, including:

  • Engine compartment: Fluids, belts, hoses, and visible leaks
  • Brakes and tires: Visible brake components, tire condition, and tread wear
  • Suspension and steering: Visual inspection of accessible components
  • Electrical systems: Lights, warning indicators, and electrical functions
  • Exterior and body: Visible damage, signs of previous repairs, and accessible underbody areas
  • Diagnostic scan: Check for diagnostic trouble codes in accessible vehicle systems
  • Road test: Evaluate vehicle operation and performance when possible

After the inspection, we’ll review our findings and discuss any concerns that could affect the vehicle’s safety, reliability, or value.

Please note: This is a visual and functional inspection. The vehicle is not lifted, and wheels are not removed. Components requiring lifting, disassembly, or specialized testing may not be fully evaluated.
